'Stars sing for Parkinson's at Charity's Carol Concert'
Jane Asher hosted the 25th Parkinson’s Disease Society (PDS) Christmas Carol Concert at the historical Southwark Cathedral on Tuesday 19th December.

Gala Concert - December 2nd
Due to the generosity of our supporters, over £1000 was collected for St Christophers Hospice.
A most enjoyable evening. Well done everybody!
Many thanks to all, especially to our guests, the Gwalia Male Voice Choir, and soloist Kait Gray.
And the Band supported the Hospice again the following day by playing carols at their Remembrance Tree Service on Sunday 3rd December. Pictures
Cornwall - August 26th to 28th
A great Trip! Based in Bodmin, we visited Newquay, Goonhilly, St Keverne and Falmouth. We played two concerts, one at St Keverne, the second at Falmouth.
Many thanks to Chis Atkins (plus assistants) who managed all the arrangements without a hitch. A particular vote of thanks is also due to Alan Retallack and the St Keverne Band for hosting the joint concert on Saturday 27th with such lavish hospitality.

CRYSTAL PALACE BAND APPEAR ON GMTV
Crystal Palace Band made their GMTV debut on Monday 26 June - and we were such a success that we were asked to appear again on Friday 30 June! The seven-piece ensemble had to be 'on set' in South Wimbledon at 5.45am, and appeared live on air at 7.15 and 8.20. Bacon sandwiches, tea and strong coffee helped reduce the shock of what was, for many, a 4.30am start. The rain didn't dampen our spirits, especially as we were undercover - apart from Mike Gray who was forced to conduct just outside the garage roof.Non-stop renditions of 'Amarillo' got a bit tiresome as well!
Bobby Davro was guest appearing for GMTV as a cheesy car salesman and, true to form, cracked some cheesy jokes - although the band weren't amused by his reference to us as 'You've heard of heavy metal, this lot are more like scrap metal'. But we were all friends at the end of it Pictures.
A New Arrival
Our trombone player, Toby Andrews writes;
"We're delighted to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter Sophie, born just before midnight on Wednesday evening. Both she and mum are all well. Thanks for all your earlier good wishes and support. See you all soon, from Toby & Maria"
Many congratulations to you both from all the band and we hope that Toby's trombone practice won't keep the baby awake!

From June 2006, we are rehearsing at the Crystal Palace Museum.
